Get Your House Ready To Sell This Winter

While there is a limitless number of things that you can do to prepare your home for listing there is one key thing to keep in mind when doing so. Your #1 goal should be to not distract the buyer from the home itself. Distractions can come from a variety of places but the big ones I see are these:

  • Scuffs and nail holes in the walls,

  • Old/dated appliances

  • Out of style light fixtures

  • Trash or junk in the yard or anywhere in the home

  • Anything obviously broken or in disrepair

  • Clutter around the home cause by too many things on counters and too much furniture/decorations

The list could continue, but these are the big ones I recommend addressing when prepping your home to sell!
